Professor of different subjects reserved for the categories as per roster register as stated below in SBMS College, Sualkuchi.

Educational Qualification: The candidates must possess a good academic record with at least 55% of marks at Master Degree Level in the relevant subject or an equivalent grade in point scale On the grading system. A relaxation of 5% of marks may be provided to the applicants belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories.

In addition, the candidate must have cleared NET/SLET/ SET; however, candidates having Ph.D. degree in accordance with the (minimum standard and procedure for award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulation 2009 shall be exempted from the minimum condition of NET/SLET/ SET.

Age: Maximum age Of the candidate as on 01.01.2019 should not be more than 38 years with a relaxation Of 6 years for SC/ST/PWD and 3 years for MOBC categories Of candidates.

* Candidates must produce permanent Residential Certificate and must know the local language.

The candidate has to acquire required qualifications on or before the last date Of submitting an application, Eligibility like M.Phil/ Ph. D/ Seminar papers/Publication can be acquired on the date Of interview and not beyond.
