Applications are invited in prescribed format (available in DHE website) with complete bio-data (including contact number and e-mail ID etc.) from HSLC onwards from eligible candidates for the following sanctioned posts of Assistant Professor in the UGC scale of pay Rs. 57, 700 —1, 82, 400/- with other allowances as per rule and as admissible from time to time.

Educational Qualifications: 

1. Good academic record with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade point at the Master degree level (5% is relaxable to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/ PwD category) in the concerned subject.
2. Candidates must have cleared NET/SLET/SET conducted by the UGC/ CSIR or similar test accredited by UGC like SLET Commission.
3. The candidate having Ph.D. degree in accordance with the UGC (minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph.D degree) regulation, 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility conditions of NET/SLET/SET.

The selection will be made as per the latest guidelines issued by the DHE, Govt. of Assam.

Age:- Candidate should not be more than 38 years of age as on 01.01.2020 with relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/PwD and 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates. In service candidates have to apply through proper channel with an NOC from the appointing authority. The candidate must submit PRC and must know the local language.
